The Financial Planning Association of Florida is a state council of the Financial Planning Association and supports eight (8) regional chapters that serve thousands of members. Each chapter organizes educational events, networking meetups, pro bono initiatives, community partnerships, and student mentoring programs for professionals in the financial planning industry located in and/or serving clients in Florida.
A CFP® designation is not required to join FPA.
Our members include CPAs, attorneys, insurance agents, businesses that serve the same clientele, and students studying finance. Some chapters have events that are open to nonmembers. But membership grants unrestricted access to all events and tons of benefits like discounts on business services, travel, Florida amusement park tickets, office supplies, as well as access to business, life or group health insurance options.
