This session will provide an economic and market outlook designed to educate participants on the impacts of various economic and market conditions on investor outcomes. The session will provide tools for assessing where we are in the economic cycle, based on repeated historical conditions. Participants will apply today’s unique factors to estimate when, and with what impact, a recession may occur. The session will also review market conditions, including monetary policy and developments in market interest rates, which may impact investor choices independently from the economic outlook. It will also enable participants to identify and describe the differences between monetary, bank lending, and market financial conditions, and how the impact market outcomes.
