Description: This presentation redefines the rules of the road on how to calculate the client’s total cost when looking at individual ETFs in a portfolio. We do this by taking an in-depth look at explicit, implicit & opportunity costs to help advisors assess the total cost of ownership between two solutions and deliver an evaluation framework for advisors moving forward.

About the Speaker: Edward Rosenberg is Managing Director, Head of ETF & Funds Management at Texas Capital. He is responsible for building out and leading the ETF and funds platform for Texas Capital Securities, Texas Capital Bank’s broker-dealer subsidiary, while overseeing product management, capital markets and sales as it relates to ETFs. He brings to his new role a total of 28 years of finance experience, including an 18-year history as a pioneer in the ETF industry.
Before joining Texas Capital in February 2023, Rosenberg served as Head of ETFs at American Century Investments. In less than five years, he built a platform of 35 ETFs with $16B in AUM. He was the first to launch semi-transparent ETFs in March 2020.
Prior, Rosenberg served as the FlexShares Head of ETF Capital Markets at Northern Trust, where he developed new ETF strategies and managed 26 authorized participants (APs), market making firms, and exchanges. Prior to Northern Trust, Rosenberg served as Head of Capital Markets at Russell Investments, where he launched 17 ETFs and secured over $225M in seed capital, in addition to $30M for new Australian-domiciled ETFs. He also signed up 18 APs, managed market making firms, and led the company’s acquisition of U.S. One. Rosenberg began his career at Vanguard, where he directed ETF product development, including the launch of seven bond sector ETFs, two domestic ETFs, and four broad-based bond ETFs.
Rosenberg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University. He is a frequent featured guest on Bloomberg, CNBC, and Fox Business.
