As a member of the advisory team, Aaron works directly with individuals, families, and executives to help them identify and achieve fulfilling lives through his primary fields of focus including: investment management, retirement planning, strategic tax planning, executive compensation, and developing plans for generational wealth. His passion for financial planning formed after his grandparents were victimized by a Ponzi scheme, so he holds great pride in providing clients with a fiduciary wealth management relationship built upon a foundation of deep trust.
He graduated in 2014 from Virginia Tech with a degree in Applied Economic Management, concentrating in Behavioral Finance and Financial Planning. He obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)* designation in 2016, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®)* in 2019.
Aaron has been quoted by multiple news sources including Forbes.com, USA Today, NerdWallet, Bankrate, ThinkAdvisor, MarketWatch, CNBC, Barron’s, InvestmentNews, and the Wall Street Journal and regularly speaks both locally and nationally to advisors about trends and best practices in the industry. He is the 2022 Emerging Leader of the Financial Planning Association of the National Capital Area and a recipient of the 2022 & 2023 Washingtonian Top Financial Advisor recognition from his peers.
Aaron embodies the Virginia Tech motto of “Ut Prosim”, meaning “That I May Serve”, not only with clients, but by working to improve the industry for clients’ best interest as the Treasurer, and member of Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association of the National Capital Area.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, staying physically fit, exploring the great outdoors, and traveling to experience new cultures. So far, he has been to 21 states in the U.S. (Favorite – Utah), and 11 countries (Favorite – Italy).
