Recapping the work of the task force to date and technology plans for the beta-test chapters in 2020

Technology can deepen our understanding of FPA member’s needs, help deliver a stronger, more responsive member experience, promote richer and more collaborative community connections, amplify awareness of FPA and more. That’s why the OneFPA Technology Task Force has been hard at work over the past year developing a comprehensive digital strategy for FPA that will set the association on a path for greater success through the streamlining and adoption of integrated technology solutions that will inform the work of FPA and its chapters in support of our Primary Aim: to elevate the profession that transforms lives through the power of financial planning.

We asked Chris Draughon, CFP®, chair of the OneFPA Technology Task Force, and Julie Butcher, FPA’s managing director of technology, to provide an update on the work of the task force and how they see the beta-test chapters participating in reviewing and assessing technology improvements throughout 2020.
