Fall 2025 FPA Residency Program Dean

Dr. Dave Yeske, CFP® holds a doctorate in finance from Golden Gate University, as well as an MA in Economics and a BS in applied economics from the University of San Francisco. He has been practicing financial planning since 1990. Yeske is a past chair of the Financial Planning Association and is a former practitioner editor of the Journal of Financial Planning. He previously chaired the FPA PAC, Research Center Team, and Academic Advisory Council. He is also a long-time mentor and now dean for the FPA Residency Program. Yeske received the FPA Heart of Financial Planning award in 2012, and the P. Kemp Fain, Jr. Award in 2017. He holds an appointment as a distinguished adjunct professor in Golden Gate University's Ageno School of Business, where he has taught for over 20 years and served as the director of the University's financial planning program, home of the first-ever MS in Financial Planning degree.

Mentors

H. Jude Boudreaux, CFP® is a partner and senior financial planner with The Planning Center and is an active member in the financial planning community, passionate about creating career paths for those entering the profession. He is a member of the CNBC Financial Advisor council, a group of 20 selected advisers to provide content for CNBC on personal financial planning. He has served as president of NexGen (2009) and chair (2010), FPA’s community for financial planners who are the next generation and includes students, those new the profession, and career changers. He has been quoted in numerous consumer and trade publications over his 17+ year career, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Journal of Financial Planning, Money Magazine, and The Times-Picayune, to name a few. In addition, he was named to the Investment News “40 Under 40” class of 2015.

Rich Busillo, CFP® is retired Chairman & CEO of RTD Financial, a Philadelphia-based Registered Investment Advisory firm, providing Personal Wealth Management, Employer Retirement Plans, and Institutional Investment Management services. With over four decades of experience as a personal financial planner and holding designations including CFP®, AIF®, and RPA, Richard remains actively engaged in mentoring the next generation of financial planners. 

Gregg Clarke, CFP® is the founder of Meritas Wealth Management, LLC and has been a financial adviser since 1990. He has a passion for comprehensive financial planning services with an emphasis on goal setting, investments, asset allocation, and retirement planning. Gregg also works with many clients in the area of employee stock option planning. Gregg is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and has an MBA in financial planning from Golden Gate University. Gregg’s undergraduate degree is in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis. Gregg is a past President of FPA of San Francisco.

Autumn Knutson, CFP® is the founder of Styled Wealth, a holistic financial planning firm serving impact-driven individuals.  Autumn is a champion for inclusion and seeks to learn ways to better serve people of various talents within and by the profession. She is a former national FPA Nexgen President, Gathering Conference Chair, and national FPA D&I Committee member. Autumn is a 5x Investopedia Top 100 Advisor and on the Forbes Marketplace Advisory Board. 

Kelly McNerney, CFP® is a Principal in the Virginia office for Cerity Partners. Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Kelly served as a Financial Advisor at FJY Financial. She initially joined FJY as an Associate Financial Advisor and served on both the firm’s Investment Committee and Financial Planning Committee. As a chair of FJY’s investment committee, Kelly performed research related to investment objectives and contributed towards the firm’s investment decision-making process and due diligence. Her role on the Financial Planning Committee focused on furthering the knowledge of the firm’s Financial Advisors and staying abreast of the issues that their clients were facing. Kelly also managed FJY’s internship program and was responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring two students every summer. Kelly most recently graduated from Leadership Fairfax’s Emerging Leaders Institute.
