About the Role
We are looking for a Wealth Management Associate to support our growing firm by handling portfolio trading, investment operations, and client service responsibilities. This role is designed to increase efficiency, enhance client outcomes, and allow the lead advisor to focus on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to both portfolio management and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute trades across client accounts in alignment with investment models and strategies
• Monitor client portfolios and rebalance accounts to maintain target asset allocations
• Work with our custodian, Charles Schwab, to ensure smooth trade execution and accurate reporting
• Assist in investment research, trading analytics, and portfolio performance reviews
• Serve as a contact for client inquiries related to investments, transactions, and account maintenance
• Proactively communicate with clients to review financial plans, discuss portfolio performance, and identify service needs
• Support client meetings by preparing reports, investment summaries, and meeting materials
• Support business development efforts by creating investment proposals and assist in the development of customized financial plans for prospective clients
• Assist with compliance and documentation requirements related to trading and client accounts
• Help streamline internal processes to improve efficiency and enhance client service
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred
• Experience in trading, investment operations, financial planning, or business development within an RIA or wealth management firm
• Familiarity with trading platforms and custodial systems (experience with Charles Schwab is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of investment products, asset allocation strategies, and financial markets
• Series 7 and 65 (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in financial planning and CRM software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A client-first mindset
