Jolinda Smithson, Shapes & Colors – Founded in June 2009, Shapes & Colors, by Jolinda Smithson offers graphic design and web design services to growing businesses. Jolinda has over 22 years in the design industry most recently as Creative Director and Business Development for a small branding firm downtown. She has extensive corporate design experience including working with Allianz Global Assistance, VCU Creative Services, and Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors). Jolinda’s approach to branding, graphic design and web design is to act as a partner in your marketing so that you get a great solution that fits your level of business. A student-athlete for most of her life, Jolinda studied Communication Arts at VCU and lettered in Track & Field there. She brings a spirit of teamwork to every project. Jolinda loves partnering with clients to come up with realistic, doable solutions that clients can manage and understand on their own. A former high school teacher and college professor, she helps her clients understand what she creates and why it works.
