Served on the Adjunct Faculty of the Financial Planning Institute at Adelphi University as a Full Professor and Chair of the Department of Risk Management

President of the Life Underwriters Association which is currently NAIFA (NY Chapter)
Served on the Executive Committee of the Children's Medical Fund of New York. We applied for and received state approval for the construction and endowment of a 150 bed children's hospital and research facility in New Hyde Park, NY.
Served on the Panel of Arbitrators, American Arbitration Association
Served on the Founding Board of the New York City Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners (IAFP) which is now the Financial Planning Association
Served on the Gift Planning Advisory Council of the Greater New York Chapter of the American Red Cross

Past Board Member of the Orange County Chapter of the Financial Planning Association serving as Chair of the Allied Professionals Committee and then the Community Outreach Committee. Achievements: Developed the hugely successful Tax and Financial Forum. Restructured the Community Outreach Committee establishing a most successful Pro Bono Subcommittee and also establishing subcommittees for Diversity and Inclusion, Women's Outreach as well as Colleges and Universities Recipient of the annual Loren Dunton Award for Excellence in Financial Planning

My most important accomplishments: Married to my wife Susan for 50 years. I have two sons, one a PhD in Physics working for a research team associated with Stanford University and the other a Partner in a large national law firm. I have two grandchildren and a third due on May 25th.
Something Surprising in my past: While living in New York, I was in Charge of both the Celerity and Volunteer Telephone Banks (for a number of years) at the Annual Muscular Dystrophy Telethon starring Jerry Lewis (May he Rest in Peace). I worked through the full Telethon each year
