There are multiple living options for seniors. These range from staying at home all the way through Skilled Nursing (Nursing Homes). The health and independent living capability of each senior will dictate the type of living needed. The costs associated with each type of living can vary significantly and can be an important part of overall retirement planning. Understanding the basic options will allow a financial planner to better advise their clients in their retirement plans.
