FPA designs its programs to comply with the principles of good practice accepted by most major professions. Historically, the FPA Annual Conference has been able to offer attendees a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education credit.

CFP Board Continuing Education Credit

  • FPA applies for acceptance from CFP Board and reports continuing education to CFP Board on behalf of attendees. CFP Board has final authority on acceptance of eligible sessions. To ensure that your CFP Board CE credit is processed, please be in the room within the first 10 minutes of the session.
  • Reporting Continuing Education Credit
    • FPA will automatically report credit to CFP Board within three weeks of the conference. Please be certain your FPA online profile contains your CFP Board ID to ensure timely reporting. If you hold another designation, please plan to self-report credit to other associations or boards, including Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP), Professional Achievement in Continuing Education (PACE), The Investments & Wealth Institute (CIMA) and American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). Download and print a certificate of completion from the FPA website one to two weeks following the conference for self-reporting purposes.
    • Instructions on how to receive CE credit will be available in the mobile app and at the FPA Booth in the Exhibit Hall. Attendees must attend the required duration in order to receive credit. For additional questions related to continuing education credit, please contact the FPA Learning Team at (800) 322-4237 or learning@onefpa.org.
