Jill Mozer, Black Creek Group - Jill Mozer is Managing Director, National Sales Director, Black Creek Exchange at Black Creek Capital Markets. Ms. Mozer oversees the firm’s real estate exchange program, Black Creek Exchange, a unique solution for investors owning highly appreciated real estate, which takes advantage of tax deferral opportunities through Sections 1031 and 721 of the Internal Revenue Code. In this role she is responsible for all aspects of the program including managing relationships with distribution partners and working with advisors and clients to educate them on tax advantaged real estate investment solutions. Since joining the firm in 2004, Ms. Mozer has served in various leadership positions including Senior Vice President, National Accounts.
Ms. Mozer has more than 25 years of experience and since joining Black Creek she has been instrumental in executing nearly $1 billion in real estate transactions through the firm’s 1031 exchange programs, with over $200 million executed in 2019. Prior to joining Black Creek, she served as an attorney and regional manager specializing as a qualified intermediary for national 1031 exchanges.
Ms. Mozer been a frequent speaker and panelist for various financial, real estate, tax, legal, accounting and title and escrow industry conferences.
Ms. Mozer holds a Bachelor of Science Business from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
