DENVER (August 9, 2022) – The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) is pleased to announce its flagship publication, the Journal of Financial Planning is the recipient of the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence highest award – the 2022 APEX Grand Award.

APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers, and designers who create print, web, electronic, and social media content. As one of 15 recipients of the APEX Grand Award in the “magazine, journals, and tabloids” category, the Journal demonstrated excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve communication effectiveness. More than 1,200 entries were evaluated for this year’s awards, including 200 entries in the “magazine, journals, and tabloids” category.

“The award is a testament to the dedication of the editorial staff at the Journal of Financial Planning and our excellent volunteers. The editorial team works tirelessly to produce the Journal and provide members with a seamless reading experience,” says Danielle Andrus, editor of the Journal of Financial Planning. “Our contributors, volunteer editors, advisory board members, and peer reviewers generously give their time and knowledge to support the financial planning profession. We’re honored to be recognized and strive for continued excellence in service to FPA members.”

Published since 1979, the Journal is an award-winning, members-only monthly publication critical to providing credible thought leadership for financial planners. With monthly feature articles, interviews, columns, and peer-reviewed technical contributions, the Journal’s dynamic content is innovative, thought-provoking, and directly beneficial to financial planners in their professional work and businesses.
