I am a career-changer. Having worked myself out to my last job (it was very unconventional. Ask me about it!), I retooled for a next act in financial planning by preparing for and passing the CFP® exam. I also passed the exams for a Series 65 and Enrolled Agent. I recently joined WJL Financial Advisors, LLC, an independent RIA that builds financial plans for people starting retirement or other transitions. Our flat-fee services include helping families learn how to start turning their accumulated savings into retirement income. We prepare tax returns as part of comprehensive, forward-looking, multi-year strategies to take advantage of opportunities to manage the timing and composition of distributions.
