This session will cover the basics of estate planning from covering the essentials to leaving a legacy. What documents are important and how to reduce the tax implications the assets will be discussed. Changes in retirement distributions with the SECURE Act will also be reviewed.

About David

David brings an extensive background in financial services consulting to his role as director of advanced strategies. Before joining RiverSource, he worked as an advanced sales consultant for ING Financial Services, where he provided insurance consulting and marketing support to a nationwide force of general agents and producers. Previously, David worked in a similar capacity for Securian Financial and has also served as an independent legal consultant for American Express Financial Advisors.
