Derek Archey is President of CPI Insurance Partners, an insurance brokerage general agency in Troy, Michigan. Derek is a Rutgers University graduate who started his career in 1996 with Bloomberg LP in New York City. While at Bloomberg, he worked with professionals at all levels of the financial services industry. In 1999, he joined Comprehensive Planning, now CPI Insurance Partners and began working to provide insurance solutions to financial advisors and their clients. Derek is a past President of the Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and serves on the LIBRA Insurance Partners Board of Managers. He holds ALMI and AALU designations and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
