FPA Residency: Educational Scholarship

Richard B. Wagner Memorial Scholarship

An FPA Education Scholarship sponsored by FPA and the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning.

This annual scholarship supports aspiring young professionals who are committed to the CFP® designation and the practice of financial planning, through attending educational events and conferences.​ 

The scholarship award covers expenses associated with attendance to Spring Residency, which includes registration fees, lodging, and travel.  

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have already completed the required coursework toward CFP® certification and are ready to sit or have already sat for the CFP® exam. You must also explain in your application how your background relates to a financial need and be from an underrepresented population. Additionally, you must provide a letter of recommendation.

• ​​Application Review Process: The review and awarding of scholarships will be conducted by the FPA Residency Deans 
• Application Deadline for the Spring program: January 31st.
