  • From May 2023 and onward: You will be trained in how we perform financial planning and investment management for our clients and begin working side-by-side as the "right-hand person" for our firm's lead Financial Planner(s). This includes close collaboration serving clients both directly and indirectly.
  • Support our lead Financial Planner(s) in all phases of the financial planning process.
  • Gather, input, and analyze data in our financial planning software (eMoney and several others).
  • Collaborate with lead Financial Planner(s) to develop recommendations and assist clients in implementing and monitoring their progress.
  • Serve as an integral part of the meeting preparation process by creating materials such as agendas and a wide variety of planning, investment, and tax reports.
  • Assist in the finalization of meeting follow-up items ("Homework"), including financial planning, investment, and tax reports, along with various custom items.
  • Learn the ins & outs of Federal & state taxes and assist lead Financial Planners in preparing tax returns during the annual tax filing season. (We incorporate taxes/tax planning heavily in our financial planning).
  • Serve as a member of our firm's Financial Planning Committee and help shape our policies and processes to best serve clients.
  • Learn the ins & outs of trading and be available to place trades in client accounts when lead Financial Planners are unavailable.
  • Respond to financial planning related calls and make outgoing client courtesy calls, at the direction of the lead Financial Planner(s).
  • Participate in regular team meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Support special projects, as assigned, and assist other team members when needed.
  • Learn and growth through professional development, designations, and licensing programs.
