Mission: The Career Development Committee supports students, career changers, and early-career professionals by providing resources, connections, and guidance to help them thrive in the financial planning profession.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student & University Engagement:
    Build relationships with local universities and financial planning programs; organize student outreach.
  • Career Pathway Programming:
    Help plan the FPA DFW Virtual Career Week.
  • Promote CFP® Certification Awareness:
    Encourage the pursuit of CFP® certification by sharing resources, pathways, and mentorship opportunities.
