Kathy Longo, CFP®, CAP®, CDFA® is the founder and president of Flourish Wealth Management, an independent boutique wealth management firm in the Minneapolis area. Kathy is passionate about helping women and their families connect the emotional and technical side of money. She is the author of the book Flourish Financially: Values, Transitions, and Big Conversations, which encourages a holistic and personalized approach to finance, focused on understanding one’s money story, plan for the big transitions in life and have the necessary money conversations. Kathy continues to provide financial education by using the tips, concepts, and ideas she refined in her podcast Flourish Financially. Kathy has garnered a vast array of honors and recognitions and stays relevant and innovative through both community involvement projects and her work on a variety of local and national boards.

Spring Mentors

Diane Bourdo, CFP® joined The Humphreys Group In 1989, became a Principal in 1993, and has been President since 2005. During the last 25-plus years Bourdo has been extensively involved in all aspects of the firm’s work with clients, tackling investment and financial planning issues. She is particularly passionate about helping women get smarter about money – and to see the ways in which they already have money competence. Bourdo strongly believes in a culture of continuous learning – whether that applies to investment strategies, new financial planning opportunities or strengthening the team. To that end, she ensures that they continually improve their clients’ experience, encourages innovation and spurs growth. The combination of their dedication to clients’ positive financial outcomes and their embrace of an experimental mindset has helped the team evolve and grow in new ways. In addition to community service work the firm does as a team, Bourdo is a member of the Financial Planning Association, and participates on the pro bono committee that provides financial planning to underserved communities. In 2024, Bourdo released the updated 2nd edition of an eBook co-authored with her colleague Hallie Kraus, CFP, titled Rewriting the Rules: Telling Truths About Women and Money.

Sandi Bragar, CFP® joined Aspiriant in 1999 and became a partner of the firm in 2002. Her areas of expertise include financial planning, developing strategies for concentrated stock positions, charitable gift planning, and retirement planning. In addition to serving clients, Sandi is a Managing Director of Aspiriant’s Planning Strategy & Research team. She is responsible for creating best practices that help clients navigate the complex facets of their financial lives. Sandi works with our advisors to hone their understanding of both the intellectual and emotional spectrums of wealth by creating practices that break down challenging topics into a digestible format and provide context and clarity every step of the way. Sandi has been frequently quoted in the media, including CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Radio, Fox Business News, Yahoo! Finance, the Wall St. Journal, and the San Francisco Chronicle. She has been featured as one of Barron's Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Dan Moisand, CFP® has been featured by a slew of financial planning-related publications as one of America’s top advisors. In 2019, he was highlighted as one of the “twenty most influential men and women” in an issue of InvestmentNews that focused on the 50th anniversary of the start of the financial planning profession. He most recently served the profession as the 2023 Chairman of the Board of Directors of CFP Board. His prior service includes stints as national President of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Practitioner Editor of the Journal of Financial Planning, three years on the CFP Board of Practice Standards creating the first set of practice standards for financial planning, Chairman of the CFP Board’s Discipline and Ethics commission, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Financial Planning. A frequent presenter at conferences and events in the U.S., Dan has also spoken to planner groups on six continents and in recent years has led delegations of U.S. planners to Russia, China, India and Australia on behalf of the FPA.

Tara Scottino, CFP® brings extensive experience in financial planning and portfolio management for high and ultra-high net worth individuals. Prior to joining True North in 2014, Tara was Senior Vice President for Carter Financial Management where she was responsible for financial planning services as well as oversight of the firm’s daily office operations. Earlier in her career, she held senior level financial and wealth planning roles at The Capital Chart Room, LTD, Wells Fargo Private Client Group and Merrill Lynch. Tara has been listed in D Magazine: Best Financial Planners (2002-2023). She is past president of the DFW Chapter of FPA and FPA NexGen, and has served on the National FPA Chapter Leadership Advisory Council and National FPA Experience Task Force. She also served on the board of trustees for the Foundation for Financial Planning for seven years.

Jon Yankee, MBA, CFP® is Partner and Market Leader in the Virginia office for Cerity Partners. He is also a member of the firm’s National Partner Development Committee. Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Jon co-founded FJY Financial in 2006. In addition to his duties as a Partner and Senior Financial Advisor, as Chief Executive Officer he led the firm’s strategic direction and the development and implementation of its well-known human capital strategy. Jon also previously served as a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch. Additionally, he worked for five years in Honolulu, HI as a Program Manager for the Pacific Basin Economic Council (PBEC), an organization of chief executives that fosters and promotes the development of trade and trade policy throughout the Asia Pacific region.
