The willingness of those in FPA and the greater financial planning profession to support advocacy efforts monetarily and through contributions of their time are making a difference.

Advocacy is a long-term effort and, while much needs to be done, we have made great strides thanks to many in the profession. Everyone gets engaged in advocacy, especially the FPA PAC, for different reasons. Here are just a few people who have made it a priority to support the FPA PAC.

“I support the FPA PAC because people who don’t agree with financial planning are spending money against us. We need Washington to know what we are doing and how lives change through the financial planning process!”

Marty Kurtz, CFP®, Past FPA President

“Our stories of changing lives need to be heard and the FPA PAC is an integral way to assure we have a voice to affect policy at the federal level. It’s a complicated financial world and policy should distinguish our profession.  Without the opportunity to tell our story, we cannot impact legislation to move our profession forward.”

Janet Stanzak, CFP®, Past FPA President
