Carl M. Christie, MBA, CFP®, CFS®

Carl M. Christie, MBA, CFP^®, CFS^®, currently serves on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association^® (FPA^®), the leading membership organization and trade association for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professionals and those who support the financial planning process.

Carl is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional with nearly 30 years of experience in financial advisory services of which three years were in a management and new adviser trainer role. After a long career of providing personal financial advice and asset management services for over 350 client households, Carl has transitioned into a teaching role. He is an adjunct faculty instructor at Florida Atlantic University in the school’s CFP^® Education Program.

Carl also volunteers his time through pro bono financial planning, and is currently in his third year serving as a director on the FPA Board of Directors. He is also a CFP Board-approved CE Ethics sponsor and presenter.
