As a lover of all things puzzle logic, math, and helping people, Kristin is glad to be a part of the financial planning profession, where she sees all of these interests blend on a daily basis. She graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2019, where she minored in Spanish and earned bachelor’s degrees in both finance and accounting and information systems. Kristin obtained her CPA license in June 2020 and will sit for her CFP® certification this summer with the hope to be a CFP® professional in early summer 2022.
She has served as Director of NexGen since January 2021 and looks forward to helping fellow recent graduates, young professionals, and career changers contribute to and shape the financial planning profession. Outside of work and her FPA involvement, Kristin enjoys volunteering with the Veteran’s Affairs division of the American Red Cross, spending time immersed in the local Latin dance scene, or wandering to many of Richmond’s restaurants.
